Middle Fork River Expeditions
Middle Fork River Expeditions

Jessie Jarvis

Jessie hales from Ketchum, Idaho and also has roots in Issaquah, WA and Hood River, Oregon. She has been an avid outdoor enthusiast her entire life and is always up for an adventure. She began working on the Middle Fork of the Salmon in 2009, and can run every boat from the paddle raft to an oar raft and loves running the MFRE sweep raft Fiona. You will be impressed with her knowledge of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area and her ability to skillfully navigate the river.

In the off-season, you may find Jessie working as a horse wrangler, a kite surfing instructor in Mexico or travelling the world. She recently returned from running a 40-day river expedition on the Blue Nile river in Ethiopia. On our trips you may also find her leading an early morning yoga class riverside. Jesse is a very hard worker and very skilled at what she does but most importantly is her infectious positive attitude and her view that during any difficult situation she believes it to be a “serious non-issue” and meets it directly and with humor. 2019 is Jessie’s first season with MFRE and we are very happy to have her on our team.
