Middle Fork River Expeditions offers both 4 & 6 day whitewater rafting trips on the Middle Fork and Main Salmon Rivers in Idaho. Listed below are our current Middle Fork and Main Salmon River Rafting trip dates and prices. You can also do a Middle/Main Combo for an extra $500 to make a 10 day trip. No Hidden Prices- All prices include Forest Service Fees and Taxes. We also include the $125 flight if you need to fly into Indian Creek because of low water on the Middle Fork.

* Included in pricing- 3% of the companies gross revenues are for a land use fee for operating on National Forest lands.

Dory Lodge Based trips are only 4 days. We bring only Dories on the trip, no rubber boats. We stay in lodges each night along the river. Accomodations vary but all are clean and offer showers each evening. Please see detailed itinerary for details on the lodges.

Prices Include

Transportation from Stanley, Idaho, to the river and back is included on the Middle Fork. For the Main Salmon, transportation is included from Salmon, Idaho to the river put-in Also included: meals, cooking and eating utensils, river equipment, first aid supplies, tents (4 man tents for 1-2 people), Coast Guard approved life preservers, two waterproof bags (1 day bag and 1 camp bag) for personal gear, sleeping kit (sleeping bag, 2 sleeping pads & pillow), and raingear tops and bottoms.

What’s Not Included

Flights to/from Stanley ($175) or Salmon ($190), Idaho; Motel ($85) in Stanley or Salmon for night before the trip; Flight from Mackay Bar Ranch to Boise($250) or Salmon ($200) for the Main Salmon; trip insurance (we strongly recommend you purchase trip insurance offered thru Travel Ex Insurance below; farewell dinner at end of trip; optional tipping to guides (10-15%+ of trip cost) depending on level of satisfaction.

Payments

Deposit: $500.00 per person, required for confirmed reservation.

Balance: Balance is due 120 days before the trip date. Deposits and final payments are refundable (less $150.00 service charge per person) if written notice is received 90 days prior to your departure date. With less than 120 days notice your monies are nonrefundable. If Middle Fork River Expeditions must cancel a trip due to water levels, weather conditions, wildfires or other circumstances, your payment will be forwarded to a future date and not refunded. Custom trips and groups of ten or more have a separate payment and cancellation policy.

Trip Insurance
